\n\t\t\tOn 1 November O.K. Trans Prague, a Czech transport and logistics company, has become a transport partner of the Ahold Delhaize group which operates the Albert shops in the Czech Republic. The contract on transport of foodstuffs from Spain to the Czech Republic for the winter period is valid until 30 April 2017 and will include approximately 200 transports.\t\t<\/h4>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The management of the Ch\u00fdn\u011b-based O.K. Trans Prague concluded the contract, worth millions of Czech Crowns, directly with the head office of Ahold Delhaize located in Zaandam, the Netherlands. \u201cThis is a\u00a0great break-through that we have been looking forward to for a\u00a0long time; we will be working directly for a\u00a0significant customer and not a\u00a0forwarding company,\u201d<\/em> said the business and marketing manager of O.K. Trans Prague V\u00e1clav Svoboda, adding: \u201cThis contract is a\u00a0huge success for us, but also a\u00a0responsibility; we are the first and only Czech company to transport goods for Ahold Delhaize. That is why we will approach the project with the utmost care. We see it as a\u00a0challenge and possibility to show that O.K. Trans is the right partner for this kind of transport volumes.\u201d<\/em>

Svoboda admits that Ahold Delhaize may be testing the capabilities and operations of O.K. Trans, as Ahold Delhaize will be announcing a\u00a0tender for summer transports even before the end of the winter contract. \u201cIf we succeed in winter, there is hope for a\u00a0long-term partnership with Ahold Delhaize,\u201d<\/em> concluded Svoboda.
